IT Support Manager - 6 Month FTC

Salary - Up to £54,000

On-Site Requirement - Manchester Office

My Client is looking for an experienced IT Support Manager to lead the IT support function, reporting directly to the CTO. The role will initially be on a 6-Month Fixed Term basis - with the potential to go Permanent.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage the support team, drive service excellence, oversee key technology suppliers, and provide third-line technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing IT Support team.
  • Drive service delivery, SLAs, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendors, contracts and technology partners.
  • Provide technical leadership across Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, networking and security.
  • Own and maintain Cyber Essentials and support ISO 27001 compliance activities, ensuring IT controls, security processes and documentation meet business and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading IT Support, Service Desk or IT Operations teams.
  • Strong Microsoft 365, Azure and infrastructure expertise.
  • Experience with networking, cybersecurity, vendor management and IT operations.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and IT security controls.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • ITIL or relevant Microsoft/Cisco/CompTIA certifications are desirable.
