About Workplace Connect

Workplace Connect is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT support, cyber security, Microsoft 365 solutions and strategic IT advice to businesses across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, building long-term client relationships and helping organisations get the most from their technology. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to join our team.

The Role

This is a hands-on technical support role within a busy and growing MSP environment. You will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of business clients, resolving technical issues, managing Microsoft 365 environments, deploying devices and delivering an excellent customer experience. The role is ideal for somebody with previous MSP experience who enjoys troubleshooting, takes ownership of problems and is comfortable supporting modern Microsoft environments. No two days are the same. One day you may be troubleshooting Microsoft 365 issues, deploying devices through Intune, managing user accounts or assisting with a customer project. The next you could be visiting a client site, supporting a website issue or helping deliver a new IT solution. We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised, customer-focused and genuinely enjoys solving problems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing remote and on-site IT support to managed service clients.
  • Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking issues.
  • Managing Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Supporting Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot deployments.
  • Administering Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
  • Building and deploying laptops and mobile devices.
  • Assisting with user onboarding and offboarding.
  • Monitoring client systems using RMM and security tools.
  • Maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Escalating and collaborating with colleagues where required.
  • Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service delivery.
  • Participating in the company's out-of-hours on-call rota.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
