IT Support Specialist

Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in IT support and technical services.
The successful candidate will assist users with day-to-day technical issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and provide clear and professional technical support. Training and guidance may be provided for candidates who are new to the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to users via email, phone, chat, or remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Assist users with account access, password resets, and basic system configuration.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently or escalate complex problems when required.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Assist with software updates, system maintenance, and IT equipment setup.
- Follow company IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to internal and external users.
- Support the IT team with other technical and administrative tasks as required.

- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, software, and networking.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and IT systems.
- Previous IT support experience is beneficial but not essential.
