About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our client's expanding helpdesk team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a well-established IT company that provides comprehensive technology solutions to a diverse range of business clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT support, particularly within managed service providers (MSPs), and demonstrate expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, and security technologies. The position involves delivering first, second, and third-line support, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and security enhancements. The role can be predominantly remote, offering flexibility in work location after an initial onboarding period at the Cambridge office. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required to accommodate client needs and support schedules.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have proven experience in an IT support role, ideally within an MSP or multi-client environment, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration is essential, and certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert are highly desirable. Practical experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID is required, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft security technologies including Conditional Access, Defender, and endpoint security. Candidates should possess good networking skills, including troubleshooting LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPNs, and firewalls, as well as a good understanding of Windows desktop and server environments, including virtualization. A sound knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their application within business contexts is also necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues are vital for success in this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
