IT Support Specialists, Help Desk Engineers & Technical Support Experts. Remote AI Project
We are seeking experienced IT Support Specialists, Help Desk Engineers, Desktop Support Technicians, Technical Support Engineers, and End-User Computing Professionals to contribute to an AI project focused on realistic troubleshooting, support workflows, and technical problem-solving.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose common and complex IT support issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network problems
- Work through realistic Tier 2 and Tier 3 support scenarios
- Identify root causes instead of relying only on surface-level fixes
- Provide clear, step-by-step troubleshooting guidance
- Review support workflows for technical accuracy
- Document troubleshooting steps and final resolutions
- Record user interactions clearly in ticketing systems
- Explain technical issues in user-friendly language
- Identify recurring support patterns and common failure points
- Recommend improvements to support processes
- Contribute realistic examples based on real support environments
- Collaborate asynchronously with technical reviewers and project stakeholders
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, completeness, and clarity

Enterprise support backgrounds may include:
- Desktop Engineers, EUC Engineers, Workplace Technology Specialists, IT Operations Specialists, IT Operations Analysts, Field Support Technicians, Onsite Support Engineers, Remote Support Engineers, and IT Service Management Professionals.
Systems-focused backgrounds may include:

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional Tier 2, Tier 3, desktop support, help desk, technical support, or comparable IT support experience
- Strong experience diagnosing hardware and software problems
- Strong Windows, macOS, or Linux troubleshooting knowledge
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and network connectivity
- Experience using ticket management systems
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot systematically
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical users
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize issues independently
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
- Ability to consistently deliver accurate technical work

Preferred Background
- Tier 2 or Tier 3 enterprise support experience
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID experience
- Microsoft 365 support experience
- Intune, SCCM, Jamf, or MDM experience
- Enterprise VPN troubleshooting experience
- Network troubleshooting experience
- Experience writing knowledge base articles or support documentation
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or similar tools
- Experience performing root-cause analysis
- Experience identifying recurring incidents or support trends
- Experience mentoring Tier 1 support staff
- Experience improving service desk workflows
- CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or comparable certifications
This opportunity is ideal for experienced support professionals who can take a user report such as “my computer isn’t working” or “the VPN won’t connect,” ask the right diagnostic questions, isolate the actual cause, resolve the issue efficiently, and document the solution so another technician can reproduce it.
