Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Information Technology Support Specialist. The specialist will provide technical support to internal teams, assisting with hardware and software issues on desktop computers and other devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves:

  • Maintaining documentation of support activities
  • Ensuring systems and applications run smoothly
  • Collaborating with colleagues to improve IT processes and user experience

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Technical Support and Help Desk Support, including responding to user requests and resolving incidents efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting and Desktop Computers, such as diagnosing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Solid understanding of Information Technology fundamentals, including operating systems, basic networking, and common business applications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and IT documentation practices is beneficial.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) or equivalent practical experience are an advantage.
