At Verda, we're building a full-stack AI cloud, covering everything from data centers and hardware to our own cloud platform that the world's leading AI teams use to do serious AI work.

We strive to make a positive mark on the world through the infrastructure we build and give leading teams a service they can truly depend on. Headquartered in Helsinki, we operate globally with offices in London and San Francisco.

Join Verda while it’s still being built - not once it’s finished.

About the role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will help keep Verda’s people productive by making sure their day-to-day technology works reliably and securely. You will be in the first point of contact for internal IT issues, owning requests from first report through to resolution and knowing when to escalate.

This is a hands-on role with broad scope. You will support our employees across our corporate IT domain including devices, identity and access, collaboration tools, office technology, and onboarding. As Verda grows, you will also help improve the processes, documentation, and tooling that make IT support scalable.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide timely, high-quality IT support to Verda employees across the globe in the areas of hardware, software, accounts, and access.
  • Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, meeting-room equipment, and office IT.
  • Facilitate and support employee onboarding, offboarding, and role changes, including device provisioning and access requests.
  • Support security in identity and access management, ensuring the right people have the right access to systems and tools.
  • Troubleshoot common issues across operating systems, networks, collaboration tools, VPNs, printers, and SaaS applications.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory, device records, and support documentation.
  • Escalate complex issues to the right teams, while retaining ownership of clear communication and follow-up.
  • Identify recurring issues and improve support processes, documentation, and self-service guidance.
  • Support the implementation of IT security practices across devices, accounts, and employee workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your key competencies

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical fundamentals with a service-minded, structured approach. You are comfortable solving problems independently, but you know when to ask for help and escalate.

  • Experience in IT support, service desk, workplace technology, or a similar hands-on IT role.
  • Experience supporting end users in a fast-moving, international environment.
  • Hands-on experience with laptops, operating systems (macOS/Windows/Linux).
  • Experience with identity and access management, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Familiarity with common SaaS and collaboration tools, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and video-conferencing tools.
  • Sound networking fundamentals for troubleshooting connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and access issues.
  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting: you gather information, test systematically, document what you find, and communicate clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English. Additional languages are a plus but not required.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and an understanding of when to stop and escalate rather than improvising.
  • Comfortable working on-site and supporting office-based employees directly.
