IT Support Technician
Egham, Surrey | Full-Time | £25,000 – £26,000
We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused IT Support Technician to join our growing team at 4th Dimension Innovation. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting others, and keeping systems running smoothly, this could be a great next step in your career.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our IT team, you’ll play an important role in supporting colleagues across the business and helping ensure day-to-day operations run effectively.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via our Help Desk system
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues across hardware and software
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers
- Prepare devices for new starters using company-standard systems
- Support users across Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory and Outlook
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and stock levels
- Assist with mobile device setup (phones and tablets)
- Support office technology including meeting rooms and desk setups
- Provide basic remote support for home-based colleagues
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT team members when needed

🌱 What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences. You might be early in your IT career or looking to build on existing knowledge.
- An interest in IT, whether through study, work experience, or self-learning
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Confidence working with IT hardware, or a willingness to learn
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A practical, solution-focused mindset with good attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and availability to work on-site in Egham
- Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Exposure to Active Directory or device builds
- Any relevant IT qualifications or certifications

- Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
- Location: Onsite in Egham, Surrey
