This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive IT professional looking to join a business where they can make a real impact and take ownership of day-to-day technology support.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries, ensuring staff have the systems, equipment and support they need to work effectively. You'll also liaise with external IT and telecommunications providers, helping to resolve issues and support ongoing improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries from office and field-based employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and system issues, taking ownership through to resolution.
• Liaise with external IT and telephony providers to resolve technical issues and support business operations.
• Manage IT equipment including laptops, tablets, mobile devices and associated hardware.
• Set up equipment and user access for new starters and coordinate the return and reset of equipment for leavers.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets across the business.
• Support IT security initiatives and assist with Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure systems, networks and applications are operating effectively.
• Research and recommend new technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency across the business.
• Manage the ordering, recycling and maintenance of IT equipment.
