About The Role

The Senior IT Support Technician role at Profiles Personnel offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key position within the company's technical support team. This role involves managing complex first, second, and third-line support issues, acting as an escalation point for the wider team, and leading on Microsoft-centric support and projects. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, enjoy tackling technical challenges, and possess a strong desire to support and empower clients through effective IT solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, demonstrating a deep understanding of device management and security policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure administration, with the ability to manage cloud resources effectively.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 support and administration, including troubleshooting and user management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem to optimize productivity solutions.
  • Previous experience working within an IT support environment, preferably within an MSP setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and take ownership of problems to resolution.
  • A full UK driving license and own vehicle are required for client site visits and support.

Additional experience with Halo PSA, Power Apps, Power Automate, or networking knowledge will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Senior IT Support Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing advanced technical support for client systems, resolving complex issues across various platforms and environments.
  • Acting as an escalation point for the support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of challenging problems.
  • Leading on Microsoft-centric projects, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure services.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their technical needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Documenting support activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing detailed reports on issues and resolutions.
  • Participating in on-call support rotations and ensuring high availability of critical systems.
  • Staying updated with the latest technological developments and recommending improvements to existing infrastructure.
