About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join our IT team on a permanent full-time basis, supporting systems and technology across Old Course Hotel.
In this role, you will provide a high level of technical support to colleagues across the business, troubleshooting hardware, software and network-related issues. You will also assist with the installation, maintenance and monitoring of computers, applications, network infrastructure, telecommunications equipment and other business-critical systems.

Working closely with internal IT teams, operational departments and external technology providers, you will help ensure our systems remain secure, reliable and effective. The role will also provide opportunities to contribute to technology projects and identify improvements that support business operations and guest service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network-related issues for colleagues across the Old Course Hotel.
- Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, peripheral equipment and business systems.
- Supporting network infrastructure, telecommunications systems and application servers.
- Managing user accounts, access permissions and data security in line with company policies.
- Supporting CCTV, access control, electronic door lock systems and other physical security technologies.
- Maintaining audio-visual equipment, television services and internet connectivity across guest and meeting room facilities.
- Supporting and administering Food & Beverage point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Working with operational teams and third-party suppliers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Contributing to IT projects and technology initiatives that enhance business operations and guest service.
- Providing occasional out-of-hours support and emergency call-outs when required.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT support, service desk or similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, user account management and data security.
- Proven experience troubleshooting technical issues and delivering excellent support to end users.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including participation in out-of-hours support and emergency call-outs when required.

Desirable
- Experience supporting telecommunications systems, audio-visual equipment and physical security systems (CCTV, access control and electronic door locks).
- Experience supporting or administering point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Experience working within a hotel, hospitality or multi-site environment.
Hours
Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
Salary
£33,928 per annum
