About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Support Technician to join our client's dynamic team. Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in an IT Helpdesk or Engineering support role.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud-based Microsoft systems and servers, coupled with a strong working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • A professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach to support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients via telephone and email, providing prompt and effective technical support.
  • Log, track, and manage support requests using the company's ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of support activities, solutions provided, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and share knowledge to improve support quality.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of client IT systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs, including a comprehensive 3-day induction at the company’s offices.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends, tools, and best practices to enhance support services.
