We have a great opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join our progressive, creative, and forward-thinking IT team. You'll provide first-line support to users across the organisation, lead on hardware rollout and refresh, and help colleagues get the most out of our services and solutions.
We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Requirements
Outline of key responsibilities...
- Providing friendly, first-line service desk support, logging, triaging, and escalating requests through our service desk toolset
- Supporting new starters and colleagues more widely with their devices, including preparing and testing laptops, desktops, and mobile equipment for deployment
- Carrying out password resets, permission changes, and general account maintenance in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including setting up and decommissioning user accounts in line with our automated systems
- Helping to build and maintain our IT Helpdesk knowledge base, and joining team knowledge transfer sessions to build your understanding of Havebury's systems
- Carrying out minor repairs to desktop equipment, such as replacing or upgrading components
- Supporting the team with office equipment moves and relocations as needed
- Obtaining quotations, raising orders, and administering new equipment and solutions as directed by the IT management team

We are looking for someone who has...
- Experience providing first-line technical support in an IT Helpdesk environment
- Experience with user management in Active Directory and Entra ID
- Experience supporting an Office 365 environment
- Experience preparing IT equipment, including imaging, software management, and managing devices through MDM/MAM solutions
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly, helpful approach
- Good administration skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
