Role Overview
This is a great opportunity for an IT support professional with a couple of years' experience who wants to take the next step in their career. As the first point of contact for our IT Operations team, you'll support around 400 colleagues across our UK offices, from everyday requests through to Microsoft 365 and device issues. When a problem needs deeper technical work, you'll hand it over to the specialists in the team.
You'll join a small, supportive team that shares knowledge openly, and you'll have a manager who has worked every step of the IT career ladder and is invested in helping you find your path. We're moving towards a cloud-native environment, so you'll gain great exposure as that journey progresses.
What you'll do
- Be the first point of contact for IT requests via ServiceDesk Plus, phone and in person.
- Log, triage and resolve requests end to end, keeping clear and accurate notes throughout.
- Resolve day-to-day issues including account access, password resets, software faults, connectivity, hardware and peripherals.
- Support colleagues across Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and the Office apps.
- Build and deploy laptops and mobile devices using Intune and Autopilot.
- Complete onboarding and offboarding tasks in line with our Joiners, Movers and Leavers process.
- Support colleagues at every level, from new starters through to the senior leadership team.
- Escalate issues you can't resolve to the wider IT Operations team, with a clear handover.
- Keep users informed at every stage with friendly, professional written and verbal updates.
- Help maintain the IT asset register and manage hardware warranty claims.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
