IT Support Engineer

South Manchester £30,000 + Excellent Training & Development

Looking to take the next step in your IT support career?

We're recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join the internal IT team of a well-established professional services business based in South Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of technologies while developing your technical skills.

You'll provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the business, helping to keep systems running smoothly while getting involved in infrastructure projects and day-to-day IT operations.

The Role

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line support via phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows-based issues
  • Support desktops, laptops, printers, and telephony systems
  • Assist with system monitoring, backups, and endpoint security
  • Set up IT equipment and onboard new starters
  • Work with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and IT assets

About You

You'll already have experience in an IT support or service desk environment and enjoy solving technical problems while delivering excellent customer service.

Experience supporting business applications would be advantageous but isn't essential.
