About Vercel:

Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what’s next. For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents. We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.

About the Role:

We're hiring an IT Systems Engineer to help us improve the way our tools, systems, and processes work together. This role is hands-on and technical, with a focus on automation, integrations, and cleaning up some of the complexity that’s built up as we’ve grown. In the near term, you’ll spend most of your time building scripts and improving workflows while leveraging AI, and helping us reduce tool sprawl and vendor noise. Over time, we’re looking for someone who can help bring more structure and long-term thinking to how our team operates. If you like solving real problems, working across teams, and turning messy systems into something that just works, we’d love to talk.

This is an in-person role based at our San Francisco headquarters. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite to effectively collaborate with our team and support our office's IT needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
