The candidate should be able to write, debug, and maintain complex scripts to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Intune & Endpoint Management: Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Intune in a production environment, including device enrollment, policy configuration, software distribution, and troubleshooting of MDM issues. Familiarity with related Microsoft 365 Endpoint Manager components and Azure AD is expected.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders when needed. A collaborative team player who can work within a larger IT team, share knowledge, and coordinate tasks in a dynamic environment. Customer-focused attitude to support end-users and deliver a high level of service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications

  • Travel Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working in the travel industry or in a travel technology environment. Understanding of corporate travel workflows or online booking tools is beneficial. Hands-on familiarity with one or more GDS systems (such as Sabre or Amadeus, with Galileo/Travelport as a plus) is highly advantageous – for example, experience using GDS terminals or supporting travel agency applications.
  • Travel APIs & Integration: Experience integrating or supporting travel platform APIs (e.g. Sabre SOAP/REST APIs, Amadeus web services, etc.) is a strong plus. Comfort with reading API documentation and troubleshooting data exchange issues between systems will help in this role.
  • Travel Systems: Experience with GDS platforms (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) and corporate booking tools
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications or training. For instance, Microsoft certifications (such as for Intune/Endpoint Administration or Azure Administration) or an ITIL Foundation certification for IT service management processes can be a plus. Any formal training on GDS systems or travel booking software would also be beneficial.
  • Additional Technical Skills: Exposure to other automation and management tools like Microsoft SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager, Azure DevOps, or scripting in other languages. Experience with data reporting/analysis (using Excel, Power BI, or similar) can be helpful given the data-centric nature of travel systems.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and industry-specific systems. A proactive mindset to stay updated on emerging tools (both in general IT and travel tech) and to continuously improve skill sets.
