Amazing opportunity for an early career IT Support Engineer

Amazing opportunity for an early career (2-3 years commercial experience or thereabouts) IT Support Engineer, with a solid grounding in macOS, including device management experience (e.g. using Jamf, Kandji/Iru, etc), who is keen to move into building cloud infrastructure in AWS. AWS experience isn't required if you have the skills listed below.

We have lots of exciting projects to work on in AWS, which we will give you exposure to, from a team with a wealth of experience who can support you in learning how to build secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.

We are highly selective about who we hire. We look for individuals who have a high ceiling in terms of technical ability and are eager to learn and prove themselves.

We are expecting you to learn and grow in this role. However, you must have solid experience in supporting users in a Mac environment including device management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
