About WeBuyVintage

WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company - over 250 valuation events every month - bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country.

In three years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, with a headcount that's grown from 30-100 in the last 2 years, we’re on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.

The Role

As our IT Systems & Support Lead, you'll take hands-on ownership of day-to-day IT support and systems across WeBuyVintage.

Based in Cambridge, you'll support colleagues across our offices and nationwide field-based teams, both in person and remotely. You'll ensure the laptops, tablets, phones, systems and connectivity our teams rely on are secure, reliable and running smoothly, taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution.

Alongside day-to-day support, you'll play a key role in developing and scaling our IT environment as the business grows. This will include managing our growing device estate, improving our systems and processes, working with external IT partners, and leading significant projects including our company-wide document-management solution and the technology workstream for our upcoming Cambridge office move.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and autonomy. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving how things work and can help us build an IT function that scales with the business.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

IT Support

  • Provide day-to-day technical support across the business, remotely and on-site in Cambridge.
  • Support our nationwide field-based Buying teams with issues affecting laptops, tablets, phones, connectivity and other technology.
  • Remotely support colleagues and devices based at our Leeds and Darlington locations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, access and system issues, prioritising business-critical incidents that could disrupt our operations.
  • Manage support requests and work effectively with external IT providers where additional or specialist support is required.

Devices & Equipment

  • Own the day-to-day management of company laptops, tablets, phones and other IT equipment.
  • Prepare, configure and test equipment for new starters, ensuring everything is ready for day one.
  • Manage returned equipment from leavers, including resetting, repairing, replacing and preparing devices for reuse.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset register and manage device stock, lifecycle and replacement requirements.
  • Coordinate repairs and troubleshoot damaged or faulty equipment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
