You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting best-in-class IT solutions. On this placement, you will be responsible for developing innovative applications. You’ll focus on creating an optimal user experience for product design, development, and testing, while emphasising a data-first architecture that maximises flexibility and integrates seamlessly with essential systems.
What to Expect
During your industrial placement, you will get a first-hand experience of what a career as a P&G Technical Specialist and the non-management career pathway involves, and if it is right for you. You will be working on live business projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead. During your projects, you can expect to:
- Contribute to the design and development of AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Participate in data engineering, analytics, and AI development projects alongside senior team members.
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and data transformation workflows using Databricks.
- Support the development of interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation of data.
Key Accountabilities
- Actively deliver day-to-day technical outputs within defined service levels, project timelines, and coding/configuration standards.
- Create, update, and maintain clear operational documentation to support team knowledge continuity and improve operational efficiency.
Each intern receives a customized learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring, and training as they deliver their work.

Job Qualifications
What we look for:
- You are pursuing or hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Possesses a strong technical curiosity and interest in autonomous AI frameworks and practical machine learning solutions, with a proven ability to gather requirements from non-technical users and translate operational challenges into functional technical specifications.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
Start Date
This is a year-long industrial placement running between 5th July 2027 until 13th June 2028 and we expect you to be available for the full duration.

Right to Work
For our placement roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your placement without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid from the 5th of July 2027 to the 13th of June 2028 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
P&G is legally required to ensure all candidates have the right to work in the UK from Day 1 of their employment. All applicants will therefore be asked to provide evidence of their right to work at the conclusion of the recruitment process as a condition of employment.
