Salary: £24,770 - £27,231 Incremental progression throughout the band is available

Contract Type: Permanent | Hours per week: 36 | Location: Eccles Sixth Form College, Chatsworth Road, M30 9FJ

About The Role

We are seeking to recruit a proactive and responsive IT Technician to be a first point of contact for technical support of IT services at Salford City College.

This position will be based at our Eccles Centre, but all Technicians can be asked cover other Centre’s within the College as required.

In this exciting role you will be expected to deliver excellent customer service to students, staff and delegates, including the preparation of IT facilities and services.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of PCs, tablets and Microsoft Windows, experience of supporting delivery, preferably in an ITIL environment, of IT services and a BTEC Higher level (or equivalent) in an IT related subject.
