Job Details
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things tech. You'll work alongside other technicians and support officers to keep systems running smoothly, fix issues quickly, and make sure teachers and students have the equipment they need when they need it.
You'll spend your days fixing faults on Windows, Apple, and Chrome devices. You'll also look after printing systems, audio-visual equipment, door access, CCTV, and telephony. When devices need repairs or setups, you'll be there to help.
Beyond fixing things, you'll help maintain networks, update software, and keep asset records accurate. You'll also work closely with school teams to solve problems and make sure IT equipment in classrooms and offices works well. Ready to make a real difference in how schools use technology?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
