CTDI is a full service, global engineering, repair and logistics Company providing best cost solutions to many of the worlds’ premier brands. We support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customisation and configuration through to our field support activities that include technical assistance as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.

The Role

Our team in Glenrothes is looking for an individual who can provide support to the site covering a variety of IT skillset including hardware, software and networking whether in person or using remote access tools.

Your day to day will never look the same but may include:

  • 1st, 2nd and occasional 3rd line IT hardware, software, networking and desktop support for all users.
  • Creating, maintaining and updating documentation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, and printers.
  • Ensuring security is priority by installing antivirus software, configure firewalls, and perform routine data backups to prevent information loss.
  • Supporting various departmental and business projects.
  • Tracking and carrying out proactive and routine maintenance tasks on IT assets.
  • Occasional late shift support dependant on business requirements
  • On call, out of hours support, may be required dependant on the immediate business need.

We are looking for someone who has worked in a fast paced operation where no 2 days are the same. Having the skills and ability to problem solve which leads to problem resolution and root cause analysis is key. Having a good working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365 would be advantageous.
