IT Technician
At Planteria Group, we help organisations reimagine their workplaces, making them more productive, healthy, and sustainable. From creating warm, welcoming reception areas to designing large-scale living architecture, we turn ordinary spaces into vibrant places where people genuinely love to be.
We’ve grown from a small family business into the UK’s leading interior landscaping specialist, transforming workplaces and commercial environments with the power of nature, alongside international expansion with operations in the US. Along the way, we’ve partnered with some of the UK’s, and now US’s, most recognisable brands to bring biophilic design to life, from lush office greenery and elegant corporate floristry to spectacular roof gardens and living walls.
Our success is driven by a fantastic team of 185 employees internationally, and we’re continuing to expand. We’re now looking for a proactive and technically minded IT Technician to join our team and help support the technology that keeps our business operating effectively across multiple locations.
Your Impact
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that Planteria's systems, devices and infrastructure continue to operate efficiently across our UK locations. Acting as the first point of contact for internal IT support, you will provide front-line technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain equipment, and support our colleagues in getting the most from the technology available to them.
This is a varied role that combines day-to-day user support with opportunities to contribute to wider technology projects, process improvements and business initiatives. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will help maintain high service levels, support new system implementations, manage hardware and software assets, and ensure a positive experience for all users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
