IT Technician (Contract) - Bathgate - £25-£28ph, Inside IR35

We're hiring two IT Technicians for a 3 month contract with a global pharmaceutical organisation, based onsite in Bathgate. Early September start.

This is a hands-on device-handling role - no end-user support, no ticket queues. You'll join a small, established team wiping, checking in and preparing IT equipment ahead of reuse, resale or disposal.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling and processing IT assets (laptops, monitors, peripherals)
  • Wiping and resetting devices using provided scripts
  • Checking equipment in/out and keeping accurate records
  • Preparing devices for reuse, resale or secure disposal
  • Liaising with vendors to arrange collection of decommissioned kit
  • Travelling to other sites when needed to prepare devices for pickup

What we're looking for:

  • First or second role in IT / hardware handling
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. IT diploma) and solid hardware know-how
  • Comfortable booting, troubleshooting and following a device-wipe script
  • Reliable, methodical, happy working as part of a small on-site team
  • Able to work full-time on-site in Bathgate for the contract duration
