Protec Services is a growing IT and Security company looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Technician to join our friendly team.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both business and residential clients across a wide range of IT systems, networking, infrastructure, and support environments. No two days are ever the same!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing Level 3 IT support onsite and remotely
- Assisting onsite network technicians with secondary fixing as required
- Configuration, installation, and supporting onsite infrastructure to include but not limited to firewalls, network switches, Wi-Fi links, servers, VOIP/SIP/PBX, CCTV, PC’s, broadbands, printers, etc.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Hyper-V, VMware, and server environments
- Visiting client sites for installations and support

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in IT support or infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak with customers, answer questions, and explain information clearly and professionally.
- Strong Microsoft 365 & Azure knowledge
- Networking experience (VPNs, VLANs, switches, and firewalls)
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Experience with Hyper-V, VMware or MSP/IT support environments would be advantageous.

Hours
Monday–Friday, approximately 42 hours per week, between 8am–6pm.
Important: This is a fully office-based role in Louth and is not a remote or work-from-home position. Successful applicants will be required to attend our office daily and travel to client sites when needed as part of the role.
