Location: Nottingham
Compensation: £29,000 - £31,000 / year
Description
Reports to: Head of Infrastructure and IS
Location: Nottingham NG8 (travel to our Leicester and Manchester site will be required occasionally)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, with occasional out of hours and weekend working.

As we continue to grow and innovate in the dynamic energy sector, we are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as IT Technician to work primarily at our Innovation Centre in Nottingham with some travel to corporate office based in Leicester and other sites.
What We Need From Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring all IT support tickets are dealt with in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
- Ensuring that all IT support calls are recorded accurately within the ticketing system.
- Carrying out support for client users with day-to-day IT issues.
- Maintain business conferencing systems.
- Set-up, install and configure PC/Laptops/ mobile devices for internal users.
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Desktop administration using Group Policy
- M365 configuration and management.
- Create user guides for colleagues and users.
- Asset management.
- Supporting and administering business telephony systems
- Assist with site moves and equipment relocation.
- Experience of Helpdesk ticketing system and working to SLA’s.
- Support the renewal of ISO7001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certification

- Use of cloud-based services and technologies.
- Windows operating systems configuration and troubleshooting.
- Anti-virus/anti-malware products.
- User accounts, permissions and system access audit.
- Mobile devices management.
- Software installs and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to MS Intune, Autopilot, Entra, advantageous.
