Background
Hugh James is a top 100 UK law firm offering a full range of legal services, with offices in Cardiff, London, Southampton, Plymouth, and Manchester.
The role is based in our head office, and the successful candidate will join a team providing IT training support across our UK sites.
Our workforce has grown to more than 700, and the Firm continues to welcome new starters on board. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the induction process, ensuring all employees have a positive experience on joining Hugh James.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Training professional who has delivered systems and software training. This role will include:
- Delivering training sessions through a variety of media including weekly face to face and remote new starter induction training
- Coordinating training sessions for existing staff when required
- Carrying out new system training when rollouts are completed
- Promptly responding to requests for assistance on the IT support channel
- Updating session plans, learning resources when required
- Working with departments across the firm to identify learning needs proactively
- Producing high quality learning guides for individual departments

Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an elevated level of general PC literacy, with systems such as Windows 11 and Microsoft Office.
Experience of law specific software such as iManage and Visualfiles is advantageous but not essential.
The role may also involve monthly travel between office sites as required. Locations include London, Manchester, Plymouth, and Southampton.
