Job Title: IT Triage Technician

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive

We have partnered with a leading professional services organisation who are looking for an IT Triage Technician to join their Technology Service Desk. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, develop your technical skill set and gain exposure to a broad range of IT technologies.

The Role:

  • Provide first-line IT support across applications, hardware and end-user technologies, acting as the first point of contact for users.
  • Log, triage, diagnose, resolve and escalate incidents and service requests, taking ownership through to resolution wherever possible.
  • Assess support requests across phone, email, in-person and remote channels, prioritising issues based on urgency and business impact.
  • Install, configure, upgrade and maintain software and devices, including new builds and technology set-ups.
  • Complete user administration and Microsoft Intune tasks, while working with the wider Technology team to identify recurring issues and improve service delivery.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience providing 1st Line IT Support, including incident triage, troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows, Microsoft Office, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCM.
  • Experience supporting IT applications, hardware and end-user technologies within a professional or business environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and mobile device administration would be advantageous, alongside familiarity with business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organisation and customer service skills, with a proactive, team-focused approach and excellent attention to detail.
