Job role and purpose:
At 3stepIT and BNP Paribas 3 Step IT, sourcing IT devices for refurbishment and resale is a critical part of our value chain and sits at the heart of our sustainability proposition. As our business continues to grow in both scale and geographic reach, we are looking for an experienced ITAD Director to lead and develop our global sourcing capability.
In this role, you will define and execute the sourcing strategy that ensures a consistent supply of high-quality devices at the right cost, supporting both our commercial ambitions and circular economy goals. You will play a key role in strengthening our competitive Technology Lifecycle Management offering while building sourcing capabilities that support long-term profitability and growth.
As a member of the Lifecycle Services Management Team, you will work closely with Sales, Operations, and country ITAD teams, representing the sourcing function both internally and externally.
Main responsibilities & tasks:
- Develop and execute a sourcing strategy that supports business growth and long-term objectives.
- Define sourcing models, supplier strategies, channel strategies, and sourcing processes.
- Create sourcing plans, targets, forecasts, and performance reporting for leadership stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, supply landscapes, competitive developments, and external factors that may impact sourcing strategy or availability.
- Ensure sufficient supply of devices to meet operational and commercial requirements while optimising quality, cost efficiency, and inventory inflow.
- Develop new acquisition routes and sourcing channels to support future growth.
- Build and strengthen supplier relationships and networks across existing and new markets.
- Maintain robust cost benchmarks and acquisition pricing discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement of sourcing processes, operating models, and supporting systems.
- Educate and influence internal stakeholders on sourcing strategies, supply dynamics, and market developments.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sourcing organisation with clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability.

Qualifications and experience:
You are a commercially minded sourcing leader with a strong track record of building supplier relationships, developing teams, and delivering results in complex service-based environments.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience leading sourcing, procurement, ITAD, lifecycle services, or similar operations.
- Strong business development, supplier management, and team leadership experience.
- Experience operating in environments where security, compliance, and controlled logistics are essential to the value proposition.
- Ability to manage complex sourcing programs involving multiple stakeholders, functions, and geographies.
- Strong commercial discipline across supplier management, sourcing pipelines, acquisition pricing, and cost control.
- Existing industry relationships and the ability to introduce active sourcing opportunities are strongly preferred.
- Understanding of WEEE-related regulations, including import and export requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
- Ability to build global supplier and partner networks while leading and developing geographically dispersed teams.

Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of the ITAD industry, secondary technology markets, competitive landscape, and relevant technologies.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable sourcing programs that drive operational and commercial success.
Please note that the person selected for this role needs to pass the security clearance.
