About the Role
This is a Live-in Care Professional role, where you will stay with the client 24/7, performing essential services including companionship, home help, and personal care tasks.
Responsibilities
Companionship Services
- Offer companionship and engaging conversations
- Stimulate clients through activities such as clothing selection, hobbies, and crafts
- Attend appointments and social events (e.g., visits to friends/family, meals, clubs)
Home Help Services
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, linen changes, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, washing/ironing, rubbish disposal, and caring for houseplants)
- Organise and tidy cupboards while checking food expiry dates and managing shopping
- Possess knowledge of good food safety and skills to cook healthy Italian meals from scratch

Personal Care
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with continence care
- Understand and engage empathically with individuals living with Dementia/Alzheimers
- Support clients with their Morning and Evening routines
Essential Criteria
- Strong communication skills able to build relationships and converse with clients and families in a pleasant, friendly manner
- Respect for diverse backgrounds, beliefs and recognising the healthcare needs of clients
- Commitment to non-discriminatory care practices
- Excellent timekeeping, organisation and reliability
- Maintain good personal and professional hygiene, alongside a smart appearance
- Willingness to undergo Enhanced Disclosure checks
- Possession of either Class 1 business insurance (if using your own car) or reliable transport
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a UK resident
- Full Right to Work documentation available
- Currently offering no sponsorship
- Care experience preferred, though qualifications aren’t required

Additional Information & Commitment

Compensation
- £130 for 10 active client service hours (although full 24-hour stay is necessary)
- Enhanced payment applied on bank holidays
