Italy Digital Growth Lead

Premium DTC Pet Food Brand | UK or Italy | Remote-first

Initial six-month contract, with a clear route to permanent

Up to £70,000 equivalent

What if your next role gave you the opportunity to build an entire market, rather than inherit one?

We are partnering exclusively with an established premium pet-food subscription brand as it prepares to launch in Italy. Its product, logistics, Shopify Plus platform and wider digital infrastructure are already in place. What it now needs is someone who understands the Italian consumer and can turn that foundation into sustainable commercial growth.

This will be the first dedicated digital growth hire for Italy. You will have genuine ownership of how the brand acquires, converts and retains local customers, supported by an experienced central team in France and the wider group.

This is not a narrow performance marketing role. Your remit will span the full Italian digital customer journey, including:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Pet-care experience would be valuable, but it is not essential. Strong experience in subscription, food, wellness, beauty or another repeat-purchase consumer category could be equally relevant.

The role can be based in the UK or Italy and will operate on a remote-first basis, with occasional travel between Italy, France and the UK.
