Company Description
Synyega is an independent IT Asset Management, AI, FinOps, GreenOps and Tooling consultancy helping organisations improve the management, optimisation and governance of their technology investments.
We are looking for Tooling Specialists to join our growing Tooling practice, with a particular focus on ServiceNow ITAM Solutions.
The Role
This is a hands-on consulting role focused on implementing, configuring, troubleshooting and optimising ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with a particular focus on SAM Pro / SAM Advanced.
You will work directly with clients to assess their existing capabilities, identify technical and data quality issues, implement improvements and help organisations gain measurable value from their ServiceNow investment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing and configuring ServiceNow SAM Pro / SAM Advanced.
- Assessing and improving existing ServiceNow SAM implementations, discovery and inventory data sources.
- Configuring normalisation, software models, entitlements and reconciliation.
- Supporting SaaS licence management, usage and reclamation capabilities.
- Troubleshooting configuration, integration and data quality issues.
- Producing dashboards, reporting and actionable technical recommendations.
- Running client workshops and translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Producing clear technical documentation and implementation guidance.
- Contributing to Synyega's Tooling methodologies, accelerators and service offering.

What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro / SAM Advanced.
- Good understanding of the ServiceNow SAM data model and reconciliation processes.
- Understanding of ServiceNow HAM and the wider ITAM data model.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting software discovery, normalisation and software models.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
- Good understanding of SAM, ITAM and software licensing principles.
- Experience working directly with clients and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently across multiple engagements.

Desirable
- ServiceNow CIS-SAM certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery or ITOM.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, PowerShell or JavaScript.
- Experience with Flexera or Snow Software.
- Experience recovering or optimising poorly implemented SAM environments.
- Knowledge of major software publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe or SAP.
- Previous consulting or professional services experience.
