Job Title: DV Cleared IT Infrastructure Alert & ITIL Event Manager
Location: Corsham
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Rate: Up to £550 per day via an approved umbrella company
Must be willing and eligible to go through DV clearance process
As an IT Infrastructure Alert & ITIL Event Manager, you will contribute to this by assisting our customer directly in the support of their operational secure network. The role will involve incident management and resolution on secure customer systems.
Skills & Experience
The role will primarily involve event management monitoring IT infrastructure on our clients' live system.
All Event Managers Must Have Subject Matter Expert Level Knowledge Of a Monitoring Solution Such As BMC Suite Of Services And Some Experience In The Following Relevant Technologies

Key Responsibilities
The Event Management Services shall be provided at each customer CyISOC.
The ITIL Event Management Services Shall Include
Event & Incident Management
- Raising and responding to Alerts, Events and Incidents, including handing off each of these to the relevant Resolver Group or service desk.
Best Practice Development

Supporting the Authority to develop best practices (and if the Authority requests, implementing such practices) in relation to:
- Configuration of relevant systems with respect to Events and Alerts; and
- Activities which will result in the detection, notification, filtering and correlation of all Events and Alerts.

Monitoring & Dashboard Management
- Engineering and managing Event Management Dashboards.
- Identifying circumstances where an Alert is required and configuring Alerts to meet the requirements of the Event Management Service stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure Alert & ITIL Event Manager to play a key role in supporting a secure operational environment, working closely with customer stakeholders and contributing to the effective monitoring, management and resolution of critical alerts, events and incidents.
