Exciting Opportunity: IT/OT Programme Manager 🌟
Our client, a leading organisation in the utilities and energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled IT/OT Programme Manager to spearhead the end-to-end delivery of the Interconnectors IT/OT Scaling Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to transform a proven pilot capability into a secure, resilient, and repeatable deployment across Interconnector sites! 🚀
Role Overview:
As the IT/OT Programme Manager, the successful candidate will lead a multifaceted programme that integrates business outcomes with technical requirements. This role is crucial in ensuring operational safety, system availability, and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership: Oversee the programme from sanction to benefits realisation, establishing governance and maintaining disciplined control over scope, schedule, and costs.
- Pilot-to-Scale Delivery: Translate lessons from pilot programmes into production-ready requirements and manage site readiness and deployment strategies.
- Risk & Assurance Management: Embed operational safety and cyber security into planning, ensuring timely decisions and evidence for delivery.
- Data Integration & Business Adoption: Coordinate data prioritisation, ensuring clarity around ownership and quality controls for effective integration.
- Supplier & Financial Management: Collaborate with multiple suppliers, managing performance and financial reporting within approved parameters.
- Operational Readiness: Define the transition approach, ensuring all teams are trained and ready for a successful go-live.

Candidate Profile:
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream technology programmes, especially within IT and OT environments.
- Strong background in utilities, energy networks, or critical infrastructure.
- Expertise in managing projects in live operational environments with strict safety constraints.
Highly Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with interconnector operations, electricity transmission, or SCADA-adjacent integrations.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and delivering across diverse operational landscapes.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in technology, engineering, or business.
- Recognised programme management qualification (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, PMP).
Contract Details:
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
- Daily Rate: £600 - £750
- Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid (UK/ Warwick), Remote
