Role
Step into a pivotal role where you’ll lead IT risk management and drive operational resilience across critical technology services. You’ll be responsible for disaster recovery planning, testing and remediation, working closely with service owners, vendors and business continuity teams. Your daily work will include scrutinising service provider performance, coordinating major incident management activities, and ensuring all processes are clearly documented for audit and compliance. You’ll also support other ITIL-aligned service management areas, ensuring effective team coverage and smooth global operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead IT Risk Management, identifying and escalating technology risks appropriately
- Monitor and ensure managed service providers meet performance and compliance standards
- Facilitate disaster recovery planning and testing for critical IT services
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for resilience activities
- Support major incident management, including communications and incident escalation
- Maintain clear documentation for risk, disaster recovery and incident findings
- Provide backup support across other ITIL service management processes
Key Skills
- Solid experience in IT Service Management in complex technology environments
- Practical knowledge of ITIL practices; ITIL Foundation certification required, higher-level preferred
- Proven track record in IT risk management and resilience planning
- Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity activities
- Strong understanding of vendor performance monitoring, including SLAs, KPIs and compliance
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, able to drive continuous improvement
- Technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Excellent communicator, effective with both technical and non-technical teams
- Proactive, collaborative and adaptable working style
