Role Overview
The ITSM Solution Architect is responsible for designing and governing enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, operating models, and service transition strategies. The role plays a critical part in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and TSA-driven transformations by ensuring seamless service continuity, service integration, TSA dependency management, and successful transition to future-state operations.

Key Responsibilities
ITSM Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end ITSM solutions aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Define Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Asset, and CMDB processes.
- Develop target operating models, governance frameworks, and service management architectures.
- Create solution blueprints covering people, process, technology, and reporting layers.
- Ensure scalability, automation, AIOps, and self-service capabilities within the ITSM ecosystem.
TSA & Transition Management
- Assess TSA scope, dependencies, risks, and service obligations.
- Define TSA transition and exit strategies, milestones, and governance mechanisms.
- Lead service separation and carve-out activities during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Identify retained organization requirements and future-state operating models.
- Coordinate transition plans across infrastructure, applications, workplace, network, security, and service management functions.
- Support accelerated TSA exit initiatives with minimal business disruption.
Governance & Service Integration
- Establish SIAM (Service Integration and Management) frameworks.
- Design multi-vendor governance and performance management models.
- Define SLA, KPI, XLA, availability, and service reporting structures.
- Support supplier transition, onboarding, and operational readiness activities.

Transformation & Consulting
- Conduct current-state assessments and maturity evaluations.
- Recommend automation, AI-enabled service management, and operational improvements.
- Develop business cases and transformation roadmaps.
- Engage executive stakeholders and provide strategic architecture guidance.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- 10+ years of IT Service Management experience.
- 5+ years in solution architecture or ITSM consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of ITIL v4 practices.
- Experience leading large-scale ITSM transformations.
- Hands-on exposure to ServiceNow architecture and implementation.
- Experience with TSA management, divestiture, separation, merger, or acquisition programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Preferred
- SIAM certification.
- ITIL Expert / Managing Professional.
- ServiceNow CSA/CAD/CIS certifications.
- Cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience in global managed services environments.
