Role Description
The IVA Advisor will provide guidance to individuals seeking Individual Voluntary Arrangements, helping them understand their options and navigate the process in line with regulatory standards.

- Conducting detailed financial assessments
- Explaining debt solutions in clear terms
- Ensuring clients fully understand the implications of entering an IVA
- Maintaining accurate records
- Managing client cases from initial inquiry through to resolution
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders where necessary

Advisors will handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to emails, and deliver high-quality customer service while meeting performance and compliance targets.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of office-based work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and client advisory skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Competence in assessing personal financial situations, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and meet agreed timelines and performance targets.
- Working knowledge of debt solutions, financial regulations, or insolvency procedures, or a willingness to learn these areas quickly.
- Proficiency with standard office software, CRM systems, and digital communication tools used in a modern advisory environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, resilience when dealing with sensitive situations, and a professional, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
- Previous experience in financial services, debt advice, contact centers, or a similar advisory role is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in finance, business, law, or customer service is an advantage, though equivalent experience will be considered.
