Help customers understand their options and take control of their finances

When someone is dealing with debt, clear information and an accurate picture of their finances help them decide what to do next.

As an IVA Drafter in our Insolvency Pre-Appointment Team, you’ll review customers’ financial circumstances, explain available debt solutions and prepare Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) Proposals where an IVA is considered suitable.

You’ll work with customers and colleagues to verify information and resolve queries. You’ll help customers make informed decisions about their financial future and take positive steps towards becoming debt free.

What you’ll be doing

Your work will include:

  • Review bank statements, payslips and benefit information to verify customers’ income, expenditure, debts and assets.
  • Check that income and expenditure are accurate, reasonable and supported by evidence, investigating discrepancies, unusual transactions and missing information.
  • Conduct SIP 3.1 calls, explaining available debt solutions and their advantages, disadvantages and implications so customers can make informed decisions.
  • Identify and escalate potential customer vulnerabilities, affordability concerns or other matters needing further consideration.
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to obtain additional information, resolve queries and progress cases efficiently.
  • Prepare accurate IVA Proposals and Statements of Affairs that reflect each customer’s individual financial circumstances.
  • Maintain complete case records and progress work within agreed service level agreements (SLAs), following company procedures and relevant insolvency requirements.
  • You’ll manage and prioritise your own caseload, working closely with Technical Reviewers and the Insolvency Practitioner to meet quality and compliance standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
