IVB Growth & Capability Lead
Are you an experienced offshore verification or asset integrity professional looking for an opportunity that combines technical expertise, commercial growth and strategic leadership?
At Bureau Veritas, we’re looking for an IVB Growth & Capability Lead to play a key role in the continued growth and development of our Offshore Verification services across Europe.
This is a highly collaborative and influential position where you’ll help identify new market opportunities, develop our technical capability, improve the way we deliver our services and turn commercial opportunities into sustainable growth.
If you have a strong background in IVB, offshore verification, inspection or asset integrity, alongside an understanding of the UK offshore regulatory environment, this could be an excellent opportunity to take your experience in a more strategic direction.
What will you be doing?
As our IVB Growth & Capability Lead, you’ll act as a focal point for growth, capability development, resource planning, process improvement and service development across our Offshore Verification business.
Working closely with our sales, technical, quality and operational teams, you’ll help ensure we have the right services, people and technical capability in place to meet the needs of both existing and future clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and coordinate the regional growth plan for Offshore Verification services.
- Identify priority markets, clients and new service opportunities.
- Use market insight, client feedback and operational knowledge to identify opportunities for growth.
- Work with sales, technical and operational colleagues to convert qualified opportunities into deliverable and commercially sustainable propositions.
- Support and coordinate technical and commercial input into bids, tenders, proposals and contract reviews.
- Monitor growth initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies and actions required.
- Represent OGP Verification within relevant regional commercial and growth forums.
- Assess current and future technical and resource requirements against our growth plans.
- Develop capability plans covering recruitment, training, cross-skilling, succession planning and specialist expertise.
- Identify skills and capability gaps that could impact growth, quality, utilisation or successful delivery.
- Promote the effective sharing and deployment of technical expertise across locations and teams.
- Support the development of both specialist technical and leadership capability within Offshore Verification.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
