We’re looking for a Bank IVF Technician to join the team at Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland. As one of the UK's leading fertility providers, Lister Fertility Clinic is renowned for delivering exceptional fertility care, combining expert clinical practice with advanced reproductive technologies. Located within The Portland campus in central London, the clinic offers patients access to world-class fertility services in a supportive, patient-centred environment.
As a Bank IVF Technician within our Embryology and Laboratory team, you'll provide flexible support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the IVF laboratory. Working alongside experienced Embryologists, Clinicians and Nurses, you'll play an important role in maintaining laboratory standards, preparing equipment and consumables, supporting quality assurance activities, and contributing to the delivery of outstanding patient care. What you’ll do:
- Support the day-to-day operation of the IVF laboratory, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare laboratory media, consumables and equipment required for fertility procedures.
- Assist with specimen handling, documentation and traceability processes in line with laboratory protocols.
- Support environmental monitoring, quality control checks and equipment maintenance activities.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure laboratory supplies are available to support clinical activity.

What you’ll bring:
- Degree in a relevant biological science subject or equivalent scientific qualification.
- Previous experience working within a laboratory environment, preferably within fertility, healthcare or a regulated laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practice and quality management procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
