Sales Development Executive (Food, Chinese/Japanese speaker advantage)

Job Profile
Leading Oriental food company based in London is seeking for junior sales development executive who has knowledge and passion of food.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop sales and distribution of their products in UK & Ireland markets
- Identify key accounts and opportunities to achieve the set objectives
- Manage new products introduction and launch to the defined channel to maximize distribution
- Engage with End user and indirect customers for in-market enquirers and follow up
- Update and reporting on the latest trends and findings in the market
- Update and maintain the customer database

Candidate Requirements

- Proficiency in both spoken and written in English (Additional language in Chinese or Japanese is a plus)
- Full Driving Licence Holder
- Must have good knowledge and interest in food
- Strong communication, organisational and relationship building skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills both internally and externally
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as a team player
- Education to degree level or in equivalent is a definite advantage
- Have previous experience in the FMCG environment
- Knowledge of Japanese and Chinese restaurant cuisine in the UK
- Good computer skills in order to communicate with colleagues and present business plans
