Japanese Equities Sales Role
A securities firm based in London is seeking a Japanese Equities Sales professional. This role involves marketing Japanese equities to global institutional investors, primarily in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Japanese equities research to institutional investors across Europe and the UK
- Collaborate with in-house analysts to deliver investment ideas and research insights
- Propose stock ideas and provide market updates based on client needs
- Organize and execute meetings and roadshows connecting investors with corporates and analysts
- Develop new client relationships while strengthening existing ones
- Analyze trends in the Japanese equity market and disseminate relevant information

Requirements
- Sales experience at a securities firm or related financial institution
- Strong knowledge of and interest in Japanese equities (required)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Business-level English required
- Ability to operate effectively in an international environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network with European institutional investors
- Experience covering Japanese equities (either as an analyst or in a sales capacity)
