Job Title: Japanese Speaking Relocation Team Leader

Occasional Saturday work

Approximately 12 times per month, with a day off in lieu

Sundays and Bank Holidays

Working Hours

07:00 to 15:30 (1-hour lunch break)

Japanese Speaking Relocation Team Leader Key Responsibilities

  • Work for a leading Japanese logistics company as a Relocation Site Team Leader, with the potential to progress into a management role.
  • Carry out packing and preparation work for international relocations.
  • Guide customers through customs-related documentation and procedures.
  • Provide customers with information and support throughout the relocation process.
  • Supervise, guide, and manage on-site moving staff.
  • Monitor work progress and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle other general duties related to international relocation services.

Japanese Speaking Relocation Team Leader Skills & Experience Required

  • Conversational level of English.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and on-site staff.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, physically demanding work.
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to take ownership of tasks.
  • Able to lead and support a team and provide guidance to staff.
  • Candidates without previous relocation experience will also be considered if they demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to learn.

Preferred / Desirable

  • A valid UK or Japanese driving licence (automatic licence acceptable) not essential.
  • Previous experience in removals, relocation, or other on-site work.
  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, delivery, or similar operational environments.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing staff.
  • A strong interest in developing a career in management.
