Java / Angular Developer - Fully Remote
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Java / Angular Developer based in United Kingdom.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to contribute to the design and delivery of scalable web applications.
About the Role
The role focuses on building robust backend services and dynamic frontend solutions using modern Java and Angular technologies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality software solutions that support business objectives.

You will play a key role in developing, testing, and maintaining applications while applying best practices across the full software development lifecycle.

Accountabilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining reliable full-stack applications while collaborating with technical teams to deliver effective software solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Building and enhancing backend services, APIs, and microservices to support business requirements.
- Developing responsive frontend interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Integrating applications with REST APIs and working with relational databases to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality releases.
- Performing code reviews, debugging issues, and applying development best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping optimize application performance and maintainability.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack developer with strong technical expertise in Java-based application development and modern frontend frameworks. Required qualifications and skills include:
- 8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Solid experience developing frontend applications with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with development tools including Git, Maven or Gradle, and JUnit.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
