Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

Location: London, UK – Hybrid

Job Type: Contract – Inside IR35

Note: No Sponsorship Provided

Mandatory: Strong in Investment Banking

Job Details:

Technology wise, their primary programming language is Java with Spring, DB2/Sybase for databases and Hazel cast/Redis as distributed cache.

Need 10+ Years experience

Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant technical degree.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Must be passionate about software engineering in object-oriented language and implementing services to the best possible standard.
  • Comfortable with database concepts (design and querying)
  • Experience in Unix, Spring, Gradle and continuous integration/deployment (DevOps).
  • Follows TDD, BDD and Agile software delivery.
  • Willing to work on different technologies
  • Experience in investment banking is preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to Web technologies (Angular), Distributed Caching, Stream processing.
  • Experience in event driven and service-oriented architecture.
