About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Consultant to join our dynamic team in Central London. In this role, you will work on diverse and challenging client projects, focusing on designing and delivering cloud-based solutions across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing REST APIs
- Integrating third-party services
- Supporting existing solutions to ensure optimal performance and security
Additionally, you will play a mentorship role by:
- Guiding junior team members
- Sharing your expertise
- Fostering a collaborative environment
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a minimum of three years of development experience to expand their skills and influence within a forward-thinking organization.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and cloud technologies, with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web APIs and cloud integrations.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with a keen interest in learning additional backend technologies and full-stack development.
- Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deploying and managing cloud services.
- Solid understanding of REST API development, integration, and security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and contribute to team success.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of activities, including but not limited to:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining REST APIs and cloud interfaces on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Contributing to the development of innovative solutions, as well as supporting and enhancing existing systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Developing custom modules and integrating third-party solutions to meet client requirements.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of cloud services and best practices for security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure project alignment.
