The Role
A global technology powerhouse specialising in industrial automation and digital infrastructure is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their team. This organisation delivers cutting-edge solutions for public sector clients, focusing on large-scale government transformation projects that impact millions.
- Develop robust Java backend solutions with a focus on microservices architecture.
- Build and maintain web applications using the Spring framework, specifically Spring Boot.
- Contribute to central government transformation projects, ideally with GDS experience.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Kubernetes.
- Embrace a CI/CD mindset and an agile development approach.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, applying a consultative approach to problem-solving.

What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Java Developer or Software Engineer.
- Expertise in Java backend development with microservices.
- Strong experience with Spring framework, particularly Spring Boot for web applications.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD principles and agile methodologies.
- Active SC security clearance is a mandatory prerequisite for this role.
