About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications and microservices that meet business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Testers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java 17+, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, with a passion for building robust, efficient, and secure applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development, with proven expertise in building and maintaining large-scale applications. A strong understanding of Java 17+ features is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate for ORM. Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and system integration is required. Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, as well as containerization tools like Docker, is necessary. Experience working with AWS cloud services, Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, and Maven for build management is also essential. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, version control systems like Git, and Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban is expected. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices.
- Review and analyze Jira user stories and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to refine and elaborate requirements.
- Work alongside Testers to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Contribute to system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS tooling.
- Ensure applications are developed in line with coding standards, security requirements, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation within Confluence.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development processes, tooling, and code quality.
