We are now looking for a Java Developer to provide services on an exciting project!
The service provision will require:
- Solid JVM skills with strong design patterns.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges, especially in cloud-based environments and by using event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience of the Fintech industry.
YOU HAVE:
- Experience in Java, Spring, Cucumber, JUnit, GitHub, Fix Protocol.
- Significant professional server-side software development experience.
- General familiarity with data structures such as sets, hashes, caches, etc.
- Experience developing Front Office financial systems, E-Trading, and FIX.
- Experience using messaging technologies such as Aeron.
- Experience in delivering OMS/EMS/Exchange systems.
- Exposure to equities trading & brokerage.
- Solid experience programming using Core Java. Min Java 8 required; Java 11+ exposure is a plus.
- General knowledge of data injection/inversion of control.
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with Matching Engine.

THE PROCESS
Long interview processes are stressful and boring and that is not us. We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
So here will be three stages to ascertain the required skills:
- A chat with one of our great recruiters.
- A zoom chat with one of our Java colleagues where they will ask detailed questions to determine a skills fit.
- A Face to Face interview (either in our office or via Zoom). During this interview, we will dig even deeper and there will be a pair programming task to do.
